It may sound like a bit of a daft question, but given the option of sex or a cell phone, which would you choose?

Amazingly, this was the crucial question posed in a recent survey commissioned by Samsung Mobile. The cell phone survey takes place each year to discover the relationship people have with their mobile phones and how much priority people give to their cell phones.

The results revealed that some people would willingly give up their sex lives in favour of keeping their phones.

Yes, it’s true - given the option of indulging in lots of gorgeous sex, or talking on their mobile phone, three out of 10 people chose their cell phones over sex.

When broken down, this equated to 36 per cent of women and 15 per cent of men who preferred to keep their phone, rather than indulge in sexual activities.

The cell phone users were found to spent more than three hours a day chatting on their mobiles, sending texts, or exchanging pictures or video messages.

The Sex Pistol chilled cocktail contains a number of herbal ingredients which effects are likened to that of the famous blue pill, Viagra. These include gingko biloba, guarana and arginine which reportedly help get the libido going, increase blood flow and improve energy levels.

The cocktail also has a shot of La Fee Absinthe to finish off the effect, which also colours part of the ice cream with a distinctive green shade.

The libido-boosting Sex Pistol ice cream cocktail is due to be on the menu at the Ultralounge in Selfridges from 10 September to 1 November 2009. Already anticipating demand, the makers say the arousing cocktail ice cream will only be available on a one per customer basis.

1. Know the law about sex in public places

The exact terms of the law differs depending on the country you’re in. For example, in the UK, the Sexual Offences Act doesn’t say you can’t have any sex outdoors, but it does outlaw indecent exposure in a public place. If you get caught, you could face up to six months in prison. Similarly, engaging in sexual practices in public places is legislated by public order offences and could also result in a prison sentence.

Although it sounds harsh, this doesn’t rule out outdoor sex completely - it just means that you need to ensure a reasonable amount of privacy and pick your outdoor sex spots carefully.

2. Stick a blanket in the boot of your car

4. Find fields that are free, so you don’t squash farmers crops

On a similar farming note, as much as you may love the romantic idea of making love in a corn field, farmers will be none too pleased if you squash their crops.

They’ve taken months to grow them and their livelihood depends on successfully harvesting and selling them, so do them a favour by bypassing fields full of crops - not least as it could be embarrassing to get caught having sex there (and anyone who has laid on corn can tell you it’s not comfortable!).

5. Read a map or check out maps online
